Amamiya Hiroto, the protagonist of *Yondome Wa Iya Na Shizokusei Majutsushi*, has always been cursed with terrible luck. His first life was a string of misfortunes, ending in a tragic death during a school boat trip when he tried—and failed—to save a girl he hardly knew. After dying, he encountered a god of reincarnation who decided to send him and the other hundred deceased passengers, including the girl he couldn’t save, to another world.
But fate wasn’t kind to Hiroto. His second life was even worse than the first, plagued by misfortune from the start. Though he was reborn with an immense amount of mana, his suffering only deepened until his life ended in misery once again.
When he met the reincarnation god a second time, he learned that another rebirth was already in motion—one he couldn’t escape. Sympathetic to Hiroto’s endless torment, the god cursed him before his third reincarnation, hoping he would either die quickly or take his own life to avoid further pain.
This time, Hiroto was reborn as a dhampir—half-vampire, half-dark elf. Determined not to endure a fourth life, he resolves to survive this one, armed only with the remnants of his past existences: his mastery of Death Magic and his vast reserves of mana.
