The story follows Sage Dwight, who once joined forces with the Hero to defeat the Demon Lord that plunged the world into darkness. Yet despite their victory, Dwight and the Hero were betrayed—falsely accused of becoming the next Demon Lords due to his immense power. Condemned to die in the Valley of the Dead, Dwight refused to perish.
Though his body rotted away, his hatred kept him alive, reincarnating him as a skeletal lich. Now, consumed by vengeance, he swears to destroy the unjust world that wronged him. With power surpassing even the former Demon Lord and an army of countless undead at his command, Dwight prepares to unleash an all-out war upon the world that cast him aside.
