In Game Of Familia: Kazoku Senki, the main character, his stepmother, and two stepsisters (also his step-aunts) are unexpectedly transported to a parallel realm dominated by demi-humans. Instead of facing a demon king, they find themselves thrust into a desperate battle against an undead plague known as “Dead Mell,” creatures that can only be vanquished using weapons forged from sacred silver.
To combat this apocalyptic threat, they must form a familia—a specialized team of four individuals. Each member assumes a distinct role: the swordmaster, who wields the holy blade; the guardian, harnessing earth’s strength for defense; the healer, channeling water’s restorative energy; and the black mage, unleashing fire’s destructive force.
While the swordmaster alone can deliver the final blow to the monsters, the others must provide crucial support. However, wielding magic comes at a steep cost—each spellcaster must sacrifice a part of their essence to forge a pact with elemental spirits. The greater the sacrifice, the more formidable their abilities become.
Now, the group faces a harrowing decision: which three will endure physical loss to gain power, and who will be entrusted with the sacred sword? Their survival hinges on this choice as they navigate a world teetering on the brink of annihilation.
