On an ordinary school day, Tsukuru and his classmates were suddenly summoned to another world. But instead of a warm welcome, they found themselves in a hero auction where nations bid for warriors to fight their demon kings.
While his classmates received overpowered abilities and were quickly claimed, Tsukuru ended up with the seemingly useless job of “Chef.” With no nation wanting him, he was tossed through a portal—straight into a monster-infested wasteland.
