I stayed up all night working as usual, then dozed off—only to wake up inside the body of the villain from the web novel I’d been reading.
*Great. Just my luck. Now I’m stuck in the role of a doomed antagonist.*
I need a plan. Fast.
First rule of survival when you’re trapped as the novel’s insane villain: **build allies.** Surround myself with people who’ll have my back.
Second rule: **get stronger.** If I can’t rely on others, I need to be powerful enough to protect myself.
Third rule: **stay far away from that arrogant, overpowered protagonist.** No friendship, no alliances—nothing.
But here’s the problem. Before I took over, the original owner of this body already screwed things up.
*Should I just throw money at the problem? Maybe eliminate the protagonist before he gains his full strength? No, that’s insane. If he’s gone, who stops the actual big bad from destroying everything?*
All I want is a quiet, comfortable life—not world domination. But now I’m stuck playing the villain in a modern-day fantasy mess.
Let the survival game begin.
