Reiji Saeki, a young man from a rural town in the northeast, tragically lost his life in an accident during summer break. As darkness closed in, he suddenly found himself in a vast white void, where a strange glowing orb appeared before him. The orb revealed itself as a magician from another world, searching for a worthy successor to inherit its powerful magic before it vanished forever.
