Zagan, a feared and powerful dark mage with a sharp tongue and poor social skills, spends his days researching magic and dealing with foolish thieves who dare trespass on his land. One morning, he stumbles upon a dark auction where he encounters Nephie, a stunningly beautiful white elf enslaved and put up for sale. Instantly smitten, Zagan spends his entire fortune to buy her freedom.
However, despite his immense magical prowess, Zagan is utterly clueless about how to express his feelings. Nephie, though deeply devoted to her new master, is equally unsure how to bridge the gap between them. And so begins the awkward and endearing cohabitation of a socially inept mage who can’t confess his love and a shy slave girl who longs for his affection but doesn’t know how to show it.
