There was once a wildly popular game called *The Legend of the Seven Heroes*. Ren, a skilled player, managed to clear the sequel with the fastest world record, earning himself a special bonus data file as a reward. But no matter how hard he searched, he couldn’t find that data anywhere in the game.
Just as he was about to give up, he decided to start a second playthrough. Suddenly, a message flashed on the screen: *”Do you want to start a special story?”* Without hesitation, Ren selected *Yes*—only to lose consciousness immediately. When he woke up, he found himself reborn as a baby.
At first, he wondered if he had been reincarnated as one of the legendary heroes from the game. But when his mother spoke his name, his heart sank. It wasn’t the name of a hero—it was the name of a classmate who betrays the party midway through the story.
Naturally, Ren wanted nothing more than to live a peaceful life. But fate had other plans. In the game, he was supposed to kill a saint—yet he couldn’t bring himself to do it. Then, he ended up saving a powerful noble who was destined to die.
With every choice he makes, the story veers further from the original plot, leading him down a path he never saw coming.
