Sono Monban, Saikyou Nitsuki Sieg follows the story of an adventurer with unmatched defensive abilities. He specializes in drawing monsters’ attention to protect his teammates, but his party leader fails to recognize his strategy, prioritizing offense instead. Eventually, Sieg gets expelled from the group.
After his departure, the team struggles and repeatedly fails their quests. Meanwhile, Sieg takes up a new role as a gatekeeper in the Royal Capital. His exceptional defensive skills quickly earn him a promotion to division captain. Under his leadership are a laid-back, busty swordswoman, a bizarre and eccentric girl, and a temperamental archer. Together, they gradually earn the trust of those around them.
